Living on Armdale Bay

thrown into summers heated pace
sweltering heat falling into my face
I see the waters cool under countless boats
where bodies sway with the tide

Summer music strikes the air
heat is pounding under my feet
plant boxes, and garden hoses
make way for the glorious blossoms
vines climb in coolness of the trees
they climb by the waters edge

they leave the hot pavement
the traffic haults

dampy days

when will spring ever come
not a Robin, no not one
twigs a sore sights for the eye
immigrant green internment lie
sun, root, fire, and sky

winter day walk

Only one tree is blowing
The rest are standing still
Only one crow is cawing
the rest are eating on the hill

Only one cloud is passing
In one blue sky above
Only one sun is shinning
On tree, crow and love.     caithleen C.

Friday night date

I'd like to go dancing
Friday night
maybe a show,
will you go?

I'd like to go dancing
It's been a long week
We'll step out on the town
spend some time laughing

I'd like to go dancing
see the moon going down,
feel the stars in our eyes
On Friday night we'll go, we'll go

morning

sweating, drowsy,
heavy heads,
of the Lilacs,
drooping over,
shot by rain drops,
and dew from their beds.

morning glistens,
up off the stones,
splashed from lime the dusty roads own,
smells of the night flowers,
rose lilacs and laurels
blend with freshly cut meadows
the blackbird takes flight.

Cool and Dark Living Art

So now Im city bound
All so far away from my beloved birds, mountains and rivers
Not one day since we came together have I looked at another

Not one night have I moved where
Your curves so warm gather
Feel you silence out over the waves
Of life reaching, reaching, ever reaching
Into the roots of the trees
Deep into boughs of the trees

As high as a thousand tambourines  can sound up over the hills
The quickening flow of skirts cooling
The faces of old men
Old men cooling the loins of young women
Young women making bread for old women
Old women milking cows for the babies of the world

wrong

Am I wrong to hold on to the best thing I ever had
am i wrong to hunger for the touch of your hand
you were my life you were my breath and all that life could be,
Now you have moved on
Need to put some time between whats yours and mine
For all along I was wrong to hold on
I was wrong to hold on

I dont know why i love you like i do
I dont know why Im stilll being true
I dont know why I havent gone
I dont why Im still hanging on
For all along I was wrong to hold on, to hold on, to hold on.
