Cool and Dark Living Art

So now Im city bound
All so far away from my beloved birds, mountains and rivers
Not one day since we came together have I looked at another

Not one night have I moved where
Your curves so warm gather
Feel you silence out over the waves
Of life reaching, reaching, ever reaching
Into the roots of the trees
Deep into boughs of the trees

As high as a thousand tambourines  can sound up over the hills
The quickening flow of skirts cooling
The faces of old men
Old men cooling the loins of young women
Young women making bread for old women
Old women milking cows for the babies of the world

wrong

Am I wrong to hold on to the best thing I ever had
am i wrong to hunger for the touch of your hand
you were my life you were my breath and all that life could be,
Now you have moved on
Need to put some time between whats yours and mine
For all along I was wrong to hold on
I was wrong to hold on

I dont know why i love you like i do
I dont know why Im stilll being true
I dont know why I havent gone
I dont why Im still hanging on
For all along I was wrong to hold on, to hold on, to hold on.

I will be there

A long time ago I thought a was in love with a married man Gary this song is in honor of that experience.

Whenever the sun comes shinning through
Whenever my thoughts turn to you whatever you want want me to do
I will be there

Whether I crawl up a hill shinning on troubles through the mill
just as long as I fit the bill
I will be there

And if its on a lazy summer after noon
when your drinking champagne and wine
Just decide to take a cruise I dont mind
I will be there

Even if I got the blues, after Ive paid all my dues
I will be there

Swallows on the Lake

Through the white mist on the lake
the swallows flit and flitter on  warm winds
Moving southward these mists tempered not to stray off the frosty spring waters
They barely touch the frothy waves
they rise like a blanket blowing on a clothes line
up into the trees they go so fast
they pierce the blue sky disappearing
then emerge from a far shore, in a mist slow in its afternoons ways
as all of nature unfurls her spring- time renewal
and the mist, the rocks the water, the swallows, the winds, the sky, are all witnesses to this glorious re-creation.

The Road No More

From upon my lids
Rise the darkness of your kisses

From upon my face
The shadows of your smile

From upon my soul
The lightness of your step
Walks away the road no more
